The Nylon really helps to detangle (no need for combing) while the boar bristle helps spread oils through my hair. I'd thoroughly recommend it! PLUS - some women will spend that kind of money on a perm or a coloring - and it grows out and is gone!! I figured it was a good investment in my hair!
